Careers : Senior Account Manager, Commercial Accounts


SUMMARY

Responsible for prospecting and selling to prospective customers in assigned territory as well as selling Upscale Art & Collectibles’ products and services through existing accounts. Represents the Company in all activities associated with selling Upscale Art & Collectibles’ products and Services. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, fulfilling quarterly objectives, creating territory forecasts, using Upscale Art & Collectibles’ Sales Systems and processes, and maintaining up to date Account Plans. This is a commissioned position with monthly residual opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

      

Prospecting and selling within assigned territory by cold calling and appointments.

Supporting and growing existing customers and reinforcing Upscale Art & Collectibles’ Value proposition within existing base.

Maintaining strong business relationships with Customers and Prospects.

Report sales status, opportunities and forecast.

Consistently and reliably use Upscale Art & Collectibles’ sales methodology and sales account plans.

Meet with existing customers on a regular and recurring basis.

Recommends resources required to close new sales and to increase market share within existing accounts.

Travel will be required in this position (up to 60%).

Supports all contract terms and conditions in effect with customer.

Developing new product ideas with Product Marketing teams.

Uncovering additional revenue and product opportunities for Upscale Art & Collectibles.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

      

2+ years’ major account management experience with quota bearing responsibility.

2+ years of experience in outside sales arena.

Reseller/partner, prospect, and customer contract negotiations experience.

Successful experience in using written account plans and forecasting territory growth.

Excellent communications skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent presentation skills with experience presenting to large and small groups.

Positive attitude and demonstrated professional integrity.

Strong problem identification and resolution skills.

Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales objectives and quota (quarterly/annually).
